One way teens living with Marfan syndrome and related disorders cope with not being able to participate in sports and other phyical activity is by participating in other activities such as music, theatre, and art. Many teens affected by Marfan syndrome and related disorders find talents they may have never discovered had they not been limited from participating in sports.
"Don't let your limitations be limiting. Take it as an opportunity to find other interests. My brother, who also has Marfan syndrome, can't play sports. He picked up a video camera and hasn't put it down. He will probably create films throughout his life and always follow his passion." -Aaron
