The month of February is National Marfan Awareness Month – and the kick-off for the NMF’s annual Have Heart campaign which was launched in 1991 and supports core programs including: public awareness, medical education, patient care, and legislative advocacy.

Some people prefer to plan an activity to help raise money.  Here are a two fun ways to get involved:

Ask your friends, family members, co-workers, neighbors, or business associates to join you in supporting the NMF and the funds you raise will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000 by Neuco Inc. of Illinois.  To participate, download the instructions and donation form.

Volunteer to ask businesses, retailers, schools, and others in your community to sell and display paper heart mobiles to raise funds for the NMF.  All materials for the program are available free of charge. Email us at fundraise@marfan.org to request your starter packets.
