Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate!!!
There is still time to participate in our Have Heart Chocolate Fundraiser. This is a very easy way to raise funds for the NMF and awareness of Marfan syndrome. Everyone loves chocolate!! Pick up a box and put it in the lunch room at work -- you'll be surprised how fast it goes!! April 18-28, 2012: RENT at Columbia College
The musical RENT will be playing at Columbia College in Chicago from April 18-28, 2012. Our Chapter will be there to raise awareness of Marfan syndrome by being available in the lobby to talk to the theatergoes before and after each show and during intermissions. We are currently seeking volunteers to assist us. If you live in the Chicago area, this is a great opportunity to participate in a Chapter event. As you may know, this award winning musical was written by the late Jonathan Larson. Jonathan died the night before the debut of RENT from an undiagnosed aortic dissection caused by undiagnosed Marfan syndrome.
