Meet Our Network Group Leader
Mary Burchett is a medical student at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. She has been involved with the National Marfan Foundation since childhood and has always valued any opportunity to share experiences and resources with people who have Marfan syndrome. She has been an active advocate for improving health care for people with Marfan syndrome since high school, when she initiated a campaign to increase physician awareness of Marfan syndrome throughout Kentucky. She has been very fortunate to attend NMF conferences in the past and hopes to make this opportunity available for more Kentuckians with Marfan syndrome in the future. Contact Information

The Network Group of Central Kentucky is a local meeting of the National Marfan Foundation. We serve members in the area by providing connections with peers, education on the Marfan syndrome and related disorders, support for affected individuals and their families, as well as offering ways to reach out and improve awareness in the community. Our mailing list reaches out to all NMF members in central Kentucky. There are usually 20 who show up at a meeting. Our focus is currently providing support for members and helping members find good medical care. Meeting Location
We have the opportunity to meet in Lexington, Kentucky whenever members are interested. Members have recently preferred to stay in contact via e-mail, so we have not been meeting regularly. If you would like to plan a meeting, please contact Mary Burchett, Chair. Upcoming Meetings and Events
None scheduled yet, but check with Mary. Announcements
