PEOPLE AND EVENTS RENT Around the Country Omaha, NE – Sherry and Roger Heldt conducted Marfan syndrome awareness through hand-outs and a “curtain appeal” at the RENT performances at SNAP Productions Shelterbelt Theatre in Omaha, NED, in December. The theater manager advised Sherry and Roger that their initiative has “set the tone for the show.” Sherry and Roger became involved because their nephew, Tim, was an actor in the show (he played Mark Cohen). Sherry was gratified by the results of their efforts, including several inquiries about Marfan syndrome and one family who has Marfan syhndrome and wants to join the local Network Group. Sherry and Roger will continue their RENT awareness and fundraising efforts in February, when a local high school is performing the show.
