Nominations Sought for 25th Anniversary Volunteer Recognitions

As the NMF celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2006, we will recognize members of the National Volunteer Network who have made a difference in the Marfan community. We are now seeking nominations of local volunteers who have made a significant contribution in the areas of fundraising, awareness, research or support for the Marfan community – whether it is helping other affected people, reaching out to doctors, or spreading the word among the general public. Please note that all nominees must be based in the U.S.

Those who are selected will be featured in local media efforts, in Connective Issues and in other NMF materials.

If you would like to nominate someone, please send to the NMF (Attention: 25th Anniversary NVN Recognitions) the person’s name, address, phone number and email address along with a 250 word explanation about their contributions. You many nominate more than one person. All submissions must be received by March 15, 2006. Nominations will be reviewed by the NMF’s 25th Anniversary Committee.
